She is spirit of the flower
giving leafy green to larva
as she inches her way forward
turns and pauses on her journey
she leaves mystery cocooned
as she kisses shining silence
giving embryo a bower
raises ransom for her dower
As she inches her way forward
umbilical is left behind
metamorphosis is stunning
Beauteous butterfly becoming.
