“Seasons”
Her light has changed
as April shades her eyes.
A backward, golden glance
as Summer strays.
She runs past Autumn’s angst,
alarmed with sighs.
Then grabs the gray: old Winter,
for her days.

Taught High School English in the '70's. Freelance Photographer for Hallmark Greeting Card Company in the '70's. Still busy writing poetry.
