Life is a Beach: Tidal Wave
My hasty heart was hushed; put out to sea
and never, will my love return to thee.
A thousand ships be dashed upon your shore;
I’ll never sail into that Easterly.
Upon the tide that’s pulled by this moon’s lore
prediction knows no heart could love you more.
My life was full when rushing to your side
but empty now, there’s no love left to soar.
I float upon this sea of rising tide:
tsunami of my soul is now the bride.
So many tears to empty to the sea;
that space between us, all too distant; wide.
